Well we sure enjoyed having Grandma P visit for a week, it was a lot of fun! We had a few winter outings, walks and fun playing with the dogs. The kids enjoyed some sledding and Grandma P enjoyed taking pictures of them. Raskal and Meme are quite taken with Grandma P too, and they will miss her. Good thing she will be back next month, can’t wait

We had the dogs and kids and Grandma P down by the river the other day. The dogs loved running around and we enjoyed skating around and almost falling haha!

We adopted a little black pug last night in Calgary and her name is Princess Meme. She is so sweet and we love her to pieces already! She is the perfect way to finish off our animal family
Oh in case your wondering how we came up with her name well the girls loved Princess and I love my Auntie Meme She spoiled me rotten when I was little and I love her to death so Meme was the Perfect name for our perfect lil baby puggy I love you Auntie Meme and hope you don’t mind our lil Princess sharing your name!
I got this in my email this morning and thought I would share it. Sometimes we just need to be reminded that we are human, we make mistakes it doesn’t mean we are horrible human beings, it just means we are human! If you hurt someone, say sorry and truly mean it and if they don’t forgive you…………it’s THEIR problem NOT yours! You can’t make someone like you, you can’t make someone forgive you, you can only pray for them! Just opens my eyes to how horribly unhappy a lot of people are on this earth! Sad really! $$$ doesn’t equal happiness, okay maybe for awhile but I have had people (in my family too) which BRAG about how much money they make yet all I ever hear is how unhappy they are. They treat their spouse’s like crap, they lie, deceive people and are addicted to drugs……..how can that money be making you happy? I’d rather be poor and rich in the Lord THANK YOU! Anyhoo here is the email:
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by: holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked,” Who would like this $20 bill?”Hands started going up. He said, “I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this. He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill. He then asked, “Who still wants it?” Still the hands were up in the air. Well, he replied, “What if I do this?” And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. “Now, who still wants it?” Still the hands went into the air. My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE and WHOSE WE ARE. You are special Don’t EVER forget it.
Count your blessings, not your problems.
