I got a really kewl present!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! January 31, 2008

Well JD bought me an early Valentine’s present! I never get anything “BIG” for “V” day so when he got me this I was kinda shocked! He usually just does the flowers and chocolate or something to do with jewellery……….but this is WAY BETTER HUN, thanks

I want something better for video than our lil digicam as it wasn’t useable in low lighting………this does a much better job not to mention the video is HD!!!!! I had a few demands and the Canon TX1 seem to meet most of them. I wanted something very small that I could fit in my pocket. Something that had GREAT sound……it has awesome sound! I wanted something I could video in widescreen with HD video and this has it! I also wanted it to be a digicam with @ least 5mp this is a 7.1 mp digicam…..ohhhh ya and I wanted a big optical zoom…….this has a 10x optical zoom……so it fit what I wanted pretty darn nicely!

I wasn’t sure @ first if I liked how it looked or how it felt in my hands but the more I have used it the more I love it. I attached the wrist strap and now I feel more secure I guess haha. I am such a klutz and was worried I would drop it but the wrist strap makes me feel better about that. I did however drop JD’s digicam last summer so lol……….

I will upload a few pictures and videos that I took in a bit Have a great rest of the week everyone! Thanks again babe I do love it and will put it to good use, I should mention I also got a beautiful dozen of two toned roses, awwwwwwwww I should go take a pic of them with my new camera haha.

My Berry Bling Necklace January 20, 2008

Ok so I got Kendall to take this pic but I didn’t have my earrings in, will have to snap another one with them in sometime. Think I will wait to have JD take the pic as Kendall doesn’t really have patience to listen to me lol. It was way too flashy but she refused to take direction GRRR!!!! Anyways here I am ohh and Raskal too sporting my new Berry Bling necklace

Red Velvet Cupcakes January 20, 2008

In a large bowl sift and mix well:
2 1/2 C Sifted Flour
1 1/2 C Sugar
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Cocoa Powder

In another bowl whisk together until well incorporated:
1 1/2 C vegetable Oil
1 C Buttermilk
2 Lg Eggs
1 oz Red Food Coloring
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Vinegar

Then SLOWLY (in 3-4 steps) gently add your flour mixture a bit at a time, don’t over mix! Over mixing will cause the cupcakes to be too dense so be as gentle as possible. Mix until you see no more lumps!

Preheat your oven to 350 and pour mixture evenly into cupcake papers.
Bake for 25-30mins. Makes about 18 large cupcakes.

Cream Cheese Frosting
1 pound cream cheese
1 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 cups of SIFTED powered sugar, make sure you sift it first and then measure it out

Cream butter WELL in your electric mixer.
Add cream cheese in and mix well.
Add powered sugar slowly and mix.
Add the vanilla and mix on high to finish it off.

Ok Mom this one is for you You always fold everything so neatly and I never can quite do it like you do. I don’t know how you do it but even your laundry smells better (and I’m using the same soap) grrr….it does bug me haha! Ok why does the weekend fly by so fast???? I swear I go to sleep Friday night and wake up and it’s Monday morning YUK!!!!!!!!!! I really don’t know how it happens haha!

Raskal’s new bed! January 6, 2008

Well I had to get lil Raskal a new bed because I was letting him use the cat’s and the other day she got upset with him and the two of them were fighting over it. I wish I had video tapped it cuz it was the cutest/funnest thing I ever seen haha. A baby pug and a big fat cat fighting over a bed haha. Anyways I put Dolly’s bed upstairs as she likes to sleep up there now since Raskal has arrived (he annoys her). New Year’s Baby! January 1, 2008

Meet Hunter Thomas he was born this morning @ 9:12am weighing in @ 9lbs 12ozs (born at 9:12 weighting 9:12 how kewl eh?). He is my cousin Candy’s baby boy and that makes my Uncle Tom a Grandpa for the first time!!!!!!!!!! WHOOWHOO Congrats everybody we hope that you enjoy lil Hunter he is absolutely handsome and I’m sure he will be one spoiled lil boy!
