The New Addition… December 30, 2007

Well we have a new addition to our family…his name is Mr. Raskal Flatz…aka “Raskal“! He is a 10 week old purebred pug and he is just adorable. He stole our hearts with his handsome lil face, chunky lil wrinkles and outgoing personality! He is just perfect for our family and fits right in.

This photo is kinda funny cuz he was laying half in the sun (his bottom half) and it looks like he is two tone haha.

Raskal is just the best puppy ever…he was great last nite…cried a few whines and then fell fast to sleep! He has been using the pee pad since we brought him home and has only had two accidents where he missed the paper. The house training is a breeze with this lil guy, hes so darn smart! We just love him to pieces already! I have always liked pugs, thought they were so cute but I have to say it was lil Will that decided we got a pug. A few weeks back he got a sticker that said “give a pug a hug” and had a lil pug on it. He kept saying this over and over and kept telling us he wants a pug. The girls wanted either a yorkie or a maltese but when the girls seen a photo of lil Raskal they fell in love! He is a great addition to our family and will be spoiled for sure!

I can’t believe my baby boy is 3……..man oh man! We had Grandma & Grandpa over along with Grandma P, Kelsi, Kendall and a few kids next door to help Will celebrate his 3rd birthday! What a blast he did have, from the moment he saw his cake he was in “crazy” bday boy mode lol. He had a blast, loved his gifts, was mesmerized by his cake and had a blast smacking open a pinata…what fun!

I GOT A CALL…….but I didn’t win :( December 19, 2007

I entered a contest with the local radio station and well THEY CALLED ME THIS MORNING. Only I screwed it up booohoooo! When she asked me if I knew why she was calling I was suppose to say “I shop local with the Rocky Chamber” only I said “WE” instead of “I” and she said……ohhh sorry can’t give it to you So people of Rocky if you entered this contest its “I” not “WE” lol………good thing it was only for a $100 bucks and not a “Deal or No Deal” million bucks lol. Now I know how those people feel cuz I feel CRAPPY losing $100 I couldn’t imagine losing a million or so!

On the bright side I was on the radio lol……..oh and I started my holidays TODAY! WHOO and I’m hoping that the next person she was calling really needs the $100 bucks and that’s why I didn’t win

Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!! December 15, 2007

This is my fav time of year! I love Christmas! Some people stress about it, go in dept over it and just let the commercializing of it go to their heads but I say STEP BACK and find the true meaning. Jesus was born! He was sent here for US!!!! This is a time for us to rejoice and remember that is the TRUE meaning of Christmas. If we are just celebrating it for gifts, food and credit card debt it will be stressful!

The gifts, food ect are just a lil bonus but not what is really important. So DO NOT stress out over the season and if you do then you need to find out why you are doing what your doing….why you are thinking what your thinking and why the heck are you stressing out!!!!!!!!!

I don’t get people that allow Christmas to stress them out……..I LOVE IT! I don’t allow it to be a stressful time, it’s a time to be happy, spend time with my family, celebrate Jesus birth and do some good deeds that you don’t tell anyone about! Plus I’m getting some holiday time

We are so spoiled and it’s important to remember not everyone is so fortunate. We have so many blessings in our lives and so many things to be thankful for…….Jesus doesn’t want his birthday to be stressful……..SO DON’T let it BE MERRY, kind and loving and appreciate the hope, peace, joy and love that our Father gave to us!

Busy Week! December 9, 2007

Well I had a busy week BUT I got all my Christmas shopping done YAH! Just stocking stuffers left to pick up…what a relief I got everything wrapped too that’s so awesome Even JD has his shopping done, or most of it anyways he tells me. Got Will’s bday gifts too and they are wrapped in bday paper NOT Christmas paper cuz Kelsi said it’s just not fair lol.

Well I’m off to Church right now and then this afternoon heading to Red Deer with Mom to her Christmas party. I get to take Dad’s place since he is away working I miss ya Daddy!

Tomorrow we have another Christmas party at work (at the house I work at)….it’s a busy time. I got all my Christmas Cards sent out and I really wanted to do folded cards this year but I just ran out of time so I just did a 5×7 flat photo card inside a bought Christmas Card, same as last year only I think last year I did a 4×6 photo. Maybe next year I will actually do what I want lol. It’s so hard to get a picture of my kids together….its like pulling teeth with them! The photo I picked this year is not perfect technically at all but its my kids so watever lol. I really want to get a family photo done of all of us but that will have to wait till warmer weather. I will pull out the tripod and give it a whirl, maybe lol. Well have a good day everyone

New Look! December 3, 2007

Thought I would spice up the blog a bit I am working on a new photo header and will put that up when it’s done…..hope ya like it!
Well I took some pics yesterday of the kids, all I have to say is “IT’S WAY EASIER TO TAKE PHOTOS OF OTHER PEOPLE’S KIDS!” lol. Man my kids hate my camera, first Kelsi is telling me she has nothing to wear, goes to tears then Kendall is puking sick, Will is just being a brat and telling me “NO PICTURE MAMA NO”. I somehow managed to get them together for a few……I needed a holiday by the time I was done lol.
