Well made it back safe n sound hehe, it was nice….the weather wasn’t great but wasn’t too bad I guess. I have some pics of course, not as many as I would have liked but we were very busy! I will post an album soon, here are a few of our hotel for now

This is the Fairmont Empress Hotel which opened in 1908 and has 477 rooms….with a price tag starting at $300 per nite….ouch!
Well I just wanted to let you all know I won’t be posting until my return. Leaving tomorrow morning for Victoria I have never been there, heard its beautiful so I look forward to it, and the photo ops too! So have a great week everyone and no worries I will have tons of pics on my return hehe. Last year when I went to Disneyland I filled up 7gigs plus a gig on a digicam lol

1. I was in a car accident March 17, 2002 and was told that “someone” was looking out for me that day cuz I shouldn’t have walked away from it, I DID. It was certainly not my time and God is not ready for me. I injured my knee and hands….I couldn’t open a jar or can of pop for over 2 years. My knee locks on me now sometimes and I just fall, usually happens at the most Unwanted times…..like when I am up town and tons of cars and people are walking by or you start a new job, first day, on a HIGH ladder and BOOM ya fall of the ladder land flat on ur back haha. The thing that bothers me most from the accident is my memory. ….it’s getting worse and so are the headaches. It never used to be this bad, sometimes by dinner time I forget what I did in the morning. If it were not for my MOTHER reminding me of appointments and things I need to do I WOULD BE LOST, thanks mom….thanks to Lindy too I have been using her as my “reminder gal” haha. I have started carrying a notebook because when I’m at work, it’s just embarrassing when people ask you things about what you did yesterday and well I JUST CAN’T remember……the worst thing for me is being put on the spot, to remember things I need to sit and think for a few mins….alone and just think on the thought and it will sometimes come back, sometimes not! Ohh and I don’t rem half of the 150 people on my facebook but they tell me we went to school, so I believe them haha!
2. I LOVE a clean house, car, whatever…EVERYTHING….I can’t STAND things to be out of order GRRRRRRR I am a bit of a perfectionist in most things I do I HATE DIRTY, MESSY, out of place LOL…..it took me YEARSSS to be able to handle my kids toys being over the place….I have let that go thank goodness and understand that toys don’t equal dirty lol…I still prefer them NOT to be all over the house though!
3. I hate the word “CAN’T” I hate when people say they CAN’T do things that they haven’t even tried!!!!!!!! I mean shut-up, quit ur whining and give it a try at least GESH!!!!
4. I believe if you are going to do anything in life, do it to the BEST of your ability + some…..l earn to rely on God first and then you second! I think it’s extremely important to teach my kids, specially my girls to be independent and trust in God and to know they do NOT need someone else here on earth to rely on, not a husband, not me or their Dad……we will of course always be there for them but I want to see them trust in the Lord and try things and LEARN from them. I don’t want to shield them in a bubble and hope they never make a mistake. Mistakes are life lessons we must learn and grow from. I pray that my kids will be independent, strong and know they can DO ANYTHING with the Lord at their side.
5. I am a very strong and driven person, I believe in saying things how they are, I have no idea how to sugar coat things and If I did I wouldn’t do it…..I don’t believe in saying something behind someone’s back, anything I say I am more than willing to say to someone if its bout them. I don’t take BS from anyone!!!! If I have a thought in my head you can bet it’s going to come out, I have a hard time refraining lol.
6. My husband and I have the same birthday, May 8. My husband’s Dad passed away when he was just 14 and his Dad’s birthday was also May 8. My husband told me that his birthdays were sad ones after his Dad died and when we met we couldn’t believe we had the same birthday, it’s pretty darn kewl (I am of course 5 years ****COUGH COUGH younger??? Ok I am older so what) I sometimes wonder how my husband and I ended up together we are so very different. My husband is very sensitive and I am not. He loves to cuddle, snuggle and he really is a great husband, most times haha…..I am sometimes insensitive to his overly sensitive feelings haha! I truly believe God put us together to help each other, my husband needed someone to push him and toughen him up and I needed someone to soften me up. We really do complement each other and it has taken 5 years to get to a place where I really think we are great together LOL.
7. I am originally from New Waterford, Nova Scotia (Cape Breton) and I miss the scenery and some family but never want to live there again haha! I live in western Canada now and I really miss the ocean! The mountains are nice but I really miss the ocean
8. I love life I have a wacky sense of humour and believe that God gave us this life to live to its fullest and not dwell on things we feel that is wrong with our life. We are only here for a short time, this is just a rehearsal for eternity (which is a really really really long time lol) I can’t imagine what it will be like to live forever …be so kewl. So I believe we should live the life God gave us NOW, live it to the fullest, make mistakes, learn, grow and move on and stop wasting your breath complaining about things that are out of your control. I find that if you focus on YOU and you alone you will find yourself very unfulfilled. God made us to serve we are his servants so serve someone else today instead of yourself. I also think it’s WONDERFUL to do nice things for others and NOT to tell anyone about them…….God knows what you do and that is all that matters! So stop reading and hurry up and go do something nice for someone k?

Well we are all heading to Boston Pizza for supper tonight for Kelsi’s lil birthday bash! Got all the presents wrapped, picked up a few balloons and of course an DQ ice cream cake! The girls have early Friday’s now instead of Monday’s so they should be home by 230 and we head down BP’s at 4pm, thought we would go early to beat the crowds
